Flento, an early-stage startup in the fitness industry, sought to revolutionize the way fitness professionals managed their businesses. They aimed to develop a mobile-first scheduling platform that would address the unique needs of fitness professionals and enable them to scale their operations effectively.
As a UX designer joining the Flento team, my task was clear: support the end-to-end product design process for the mobile app and responsive web platform. The challenge was to create a solution that would empower fitness professionals to streamline administrative tasks, enhance client engagement, and explore new revenue opportunities.
I collaborated with the UX team to conduct extensive user research and interviews, gaining insights into the challenges and aspirations of fitness professionals.
I then used those insights gathered to develop a detailed user persona, serving as a compass to guide our design objectives and user journey development. We uncovered that fitness professionals
I spearheaded the development of a responsive web platform, refining layout, navigation, and visuals to ensure seamless user experience across devices. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and conducting user testing, I incorporated feedback to optimize the design further. Prioritizing search engine optimization (SEO), I enhanced discoverability and drove organic traffic.
The result? A user-friendly platform showcasing Flento’s offerings, boosting visibility, and increasing user engagement and conversion rates.
I meticulously crafted intuitive user flows and journey maps to enhance the platform’s overall user experience. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and usability experts, I visualized user paths from initial interaction to the desired action. Through user feedback and usability testing, I refined and optimized the flows to minimize friction points and improve engagement, resulting in higher user satisfaction and conversion rates.
Once the medium fidelity wireframes were finalized, they were handed over to the engineers and development agencies for implementation. The platform successfully launched and has since garnered a 5-star rating on the app store, reflecting its positive reception among users. Additionally, it is currently in the process of securing funding through investors, underscoring its potential for growth and market viability.
Reflecting on this past project, it’s clear that our collaborative effort has yielded remarkable results. By adhering to user-centric design principles and leveraging iterative feedback, we crafted a platform that not only met the needs of fitness professionals but also resonated strongly with users. The 5-star rating on the app store is a testament to our success in delivering an exceptional user experience.
